Laury, the brand's creator and originally from Marseille, first spent several years in Montreal, where she first started by transforming vintage seashells into candles. The very essence of MARLA Bougies is that once consumed, the seashell candles become beautiful decorative objects to integrate into your home in various forms. MARLA Bougies is an ode to sustainability, simplicity and natural materials. The MARLA Horseshoe Candle, a scented interlude made in Marseille
MARLA Bougies has created especially for Fer à Cheval, an exclusive candle called "Vague" with soft and irregular curves that recall the harmonious movement of the Mediterranean. A candle with soft olive green nuances that recall the characteristic color of the famous Savon de Marseille. Developed by a master perfumer in Grasse, its unique orange blossom scent characteristic of the region will diffuse a comforting fragrance for a warm atmosphere.
The ceramic is made by a Marseille craftsman and the candle is made in Marseille in the MARLA workshop located in the 7th arrondissement of Marseille. Once the candle is consumed, the container is transformed into an everyday object such as an elegant cup: the moment to savor your favorite drink while remembering the tranquility of the waves! It is also environmentally friendly thanks to its composition based on vegetable wax, which has the advantage of burning for a long time for an extended duration of your candle.
