Marseille Art and Soap

This article highlights the artistic work of Frédérique Nalbandian, who explores the complexity of the living world and the human body through sculptures made with Marseille soap. The artist finds in soap a material in constant metamorphosis, oscillating between solidity and fluidity, foam and effervescence. This hydrophilic material lends itself perfectly to his experiments, revealing a singular beauty and a captivating sensuality, reminiscent of marble. The collaboration between Frédérique Nalbandian and Fer à Cheval gives birth to a poetic story, where the soap is perceived not as perfect, but very much alive.
